Past and Future

In 2013, I visited various places .  I saw new creatures, made memories, and had fun with my family.  I also set goals for the new year.

Last year at the end of fourth grade, I went to the Caldwell Zoo with my friends and saw colorful animals.  We enjoyed seeing peacocks, a white tiger, a bengal tiger, and zebras.  We went to the Zoo Café and bought food for the petting zoos and got drinks for ourselves.  We were able to pet wild deer and even little fawns.  There were monkeys, a polar bear, lions, and lioness. There were so many different types of animals at the zoo.  We enjoyed spending the day at the zoo and seeing all the animals.

On Thanksgiving Day, my uncle came over with my aunt and two cousins, Sophie and Lillie. Sophie is four years old while Lillie is two years old.  Both girls are very wild , but sweet .  They both have so much fun with their dad .  This Thanksgiving Day my uncle decided to lay down on the floor. He didn’t realize that my cousins were right around the corner .  They ran in and made a “DOG  PILE !”  That was one of the many memories that I have spending time with my family on Thanksgiving Day .

It was the day after the Roughnecks lost to Cameron Yoe .  My family and I went to a place called Ice at the Gaylord in Dallas.  It is large rooms full of ice sculptures and freezing cold temperatures .  We hadn’t even gotten to the coldest part and my feet were getting numb.  First we entered to the big ice area with huge ice sculptures.  They had big candy canes, teddy bears,  nutcracker soldiers, and even life size people.  We got to see the Statue of Liberty in ice and  big apple. My family and I had an exciting time at Ice.

These are some of the things I want to accomplish in 2014. I want to read more books and eat less candy.  Some of these books I would like to read are The Hunger Games, Catching FireMocking Jay, and Black Beauty.  I would love to stop being scared of spiders and snakes.  I want to learn how to program games on the computer.   I hope to achieve my goals and have an awesome year in 2014.
