This year in my reading class we have been reading a book called A Paradise Called Texas , and Willow Creek Home . The books are about a German  family that moves to Texas . Along the way there were hard times for the main characters  Mina , Papa , and Mama before she died . From there ,  Papa found a family that wanted money from anyone . Papa gave them money for some oxen and a wagon . After that Papa got very sick .  Mina goes and gets an Indian Mediciene  man  . There  is a girl that takes care of Papa while Mina is away her name is Tante Lisette . When Papa gets enough strength he asked Tante Lisette to marry him . The seconed book is where they get their land and home .   Tante Lisette  has a baby boy they name him Peter . Mina makes peace with the Lipans ( Indian ) because camanches were tring to take there horse and even got Mina . She kicks and screams , and told one of her Lipan friend Amaya to go get papa and the men . Mina got scraped and hurt she found her horse that she got for Christmas . His name is Tucan his a black beautiful horse with a black silky . She got on him and rode back to papa  , the Lipans , and the men . She also got  cleaned  up by Lipan maids.  That was  my favorite part in the novel .
